SOLARA SWIMSUIT LAUNCH published in Sunstar Newspaper

THE swimsuit line of beauty queens Maggie Wilson-Consunji and Sandra Seifert is creating a buzz among the metro’s fashionista set after their fabulous launch at the Shangri-La Mactan Resort and Spa in Cebu and at the exclusive Members Only club in Manila in the Prive Fashion series.
An assortment of tea and canapes were served during the press conference in Shangri-La Mactan and it set the tone for the party launch later that evening.
Solara, which got its root word from the Latin word meaning sun, is the chosen brand name for swimsuits that are made of the highest quality fabric, plastic gems whose colors will not fade, and immaculate stitching that makes your swimsuit an investment for years to come.
The beauties Seifert and Consunji were brainstorming on what business to put up when their bosom friend, TV host Marc Nelson, suggested they put up a swimwear line. Thus, Solara was born.

The launch was a jam-packed event at the beach side of Shangri-La Mactan, where Moet champagne was served to beautiful people sitting on bean bags, low couches by the catwalk.
Cebu’s top models and real women modeled the swimsuits and Seifert and Consunji did the finale walk in their own sparkle line creations matched with sky-high Yves Saint Laurent heels.
Fireworks capped off the show, while DJ War of the Penthouse in Cebu provided danceable beats as the party went on.
In Manila, the well heeled crowd gave its two thumbs up to the show that had beautiful women model the suits – a bevy of beauties from Miss Earth and Binibining Pilipinas and a sprinkling of more gorgeous ladies from their circle like Sanya Smith, Mia Ayesa, Ornussa Cadness, Bubbles Paraiso, and Michelle Madrigal.
The suits had the basic cuts and basic colors, perfect for lounging, and for mixing and matching. These are suits you can wear with your own pants or skirts if you wish to have them as sexy tops.
On the other hand, their limited Sparkle collection offers a grander design with gem details that are pleasing to the eye, yet wearable in water. And with the promise that these gems will retain its colors and will never fade.
When two beautiful women with brains come together to create something, one can expect that the products will be appreciated, as the case with Solara.
